About SharkVentures
SharkVentures is the creation of Brenda and Gary Adkison 15 years ago and has become a symbol for a standard of safety and education worldwide through their conducting of wild shark interactive experiences. Thousands of divers from all over the world experienced safely and intimately intense shark encounters as well as learned about how to “demythtify” this much misunderstood animal through their intense educational shark programs in the Bahamas. The Adkisons have become ambassadors for the dwindling number of sharks worldwide as well as heightening public awareness concerning the declining health of our planet’s oceans.
